Worked on the car tonight. First time in months. Getting a 14 year old motivated is harder than I gave it credit for. Still, he recognizes that 10 months means permit. We've also trimmed the expectations some - instead of a complete deconstruct/reconstruct, we're going to get some help getting the car running, then work through the maintenance items: brakes, spark plugs, tune ups, oil changes, fluids, etc. Much more realistic.
